We hold major exhibitions and other displays at various venues from time to time.
At major exhibitions the recent embroidery projects of members are displayed.
A vast array of different stitches and techniques are displayed. Some projects are the design and handwork of the exhibitors, whilst others are from a design found in a kit, book or some other source. Also on display are many items made at the various workshops as well as by members of our young stitchers group (HEGYS).
Another popular feature of exhibitions is the sale of quality embroidered items. These are made by guild members, and are ideal as Christmas gifts, presents for others or a little treasure that has to be bought for no particular reason. The exhibition is a showcase of the amazing ability of our members, and something that we share with great pride.
In honour of our 50th anniversary, a major exhibition of our work was held at the Bond Store at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery in September 2022. Thank you to all who attended.
